Power Tools for Successful Negotiations

Registration: 7:30–8 a.m.
Workshop: 8 a.m.–12:15 p.m.

The importance of effective negotiation in today’s competitive marketplace is so critical that the success of many businesses rides on the fortunes of both formal and informal negotiations. Yet how many of us fully understand the negotiation process? More importantly, how many of us feel prepared to successfully handle the negotiations we take part in?

Ethical Decision Making for Insurance Professionals

Registration: 12:30–1 p.m.
Workshop: 1–3:45 p.m.

Today’s business environment poses more and more ethical issues for both management and individual employees. In response to recent events, companies must reaffirm their commitment to ethics, consumer protection and compliance to business standards. This half-day, interactive worskop focuses on ethical decision making in the context of insurance by using research, examples and case studies from the insurance industry. Participants should leave the course with new tools on addressing ethical challenges in the workplace.
